High Efficiency Boiler & Furnace Replacement Rebates

Work with your dealer, contractor or installer to get a rebate for installing a boiler or furnace with a higher efficiency AFUE. You and your installer can complete the form below.  After the installation, the rebate form is filed with the ComfortSystems office and a credit is issued to your service account (this is your utility account number, but ends in an -S)

Failed Heat Source

Has your furnace or boiler unexpectedly stopped? Are you in need of a repair or interested in a replacement? ComfortSystems can help in times of need.  Our 24 hour appliance repair mechanics can assist with getting your unit working again or diagnose the issue.  Use the help! ComfortSystems does not install replacement heat sources, but will provide an inspection, rebate on the installation depending on efficiency rating, and potentially can provide a low interest energy loan to assist with the cost of the new install.  Use the buttons below for more information.

Planned Upgrade

Do you have an old and tired furnace? Are you looking to switch from fuel oil or another fuel source to natural gas? ComfortSystems does not install furnaces or boilers, but will provide an inspection after the installation is complete,  provide a rebate on the installation depending on efficiency rating, and potentially can provide a low interest energy loan to assist with the cost of the new install. 

Rebate Amount: $50-$200

 

What is AFUE – Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency?  AFUE stands for Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency. For furnaces and boilers, it's a standard measurement of how efficiently a furnace converts energy from the fuel it uses into warm air for your home.

Smart Thermostat

ComfortSystems Installed

The Smart Thermostat program is where ComfortSystems technicians install the Honeywell T6 Pro Smart Wi-Fi Programmable Thermostat to control the heating and cooling system in the customer’s residential property.  During the appointment the installation appointment the technician will:

  • Test the SMART thermostat unit for proper operation
  • Check the furnace or boiler unit for proper function
  • Educate the customer on programming, reading and controlling the new thermostat
  • Educate the customer on how to most effectively utilize the SMART Thermostat to reduce energy consumption

Customers in the program are responsible for the cost of the installation appointment and thermostat and are eligible for a $50 rebate by filling out the rebate form.

Other Installed

Customer interested in installing the thermostat themselves or would like to have a third-party vendor properly install the Honeywell T6 Pro SMART Thermostat in the heating and cooling system of their property, are still eligible for rebate funds and will be provided with the following information from our service technicians.

  • An appointment for the City to review the installation of the SMART Thermostat for proper installation and to review and analyze the operation of the heating and cooling system.
  • Educate the customer on how to most effectively utilize the SMART Thermostat to reduce energy consumption

Customers in the program are responsible for the cost of the inspection appointment and are eligible for a $25 rebate by filling out the rebate form.

Commercial Rebate Option

The ComfortSystems Commercial and Industrial Program assists customers of these types of properties on potential energy updates that can decrease energy usage and utility bills. The property is audited for potential opportunities on energy savings. The grant is determined on what updates are completed and the estimated energy savings of that upgrade.  Contact us now about setting up a commercial Rebate.

Other Ways to Save Money & Reduce Emissions

A typical family spends about a third of its annual heating and cooling budget on air leaks into or out of the house. Leaks can happen in many places as shown in the diagram.  High efficiency appliances, air sealing, and insulation save money and the environment.
